French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a £45 million move to sign Arsenal forward Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang in the summer transfer window as they look to bolster their attacking ranks.

Aubameyang has been delivering the goods for Arsenal since his arrival and is arguably their best player since 2018. However, he has not put pen to paper on a new contract, and the Gunnersl might be forced to cash in on the Gabonese international, with just one year left on his contract. The north London side risk losing the player for free in the summer of 2021 if he does not renew his contract.

The situation appears to have attracted PSG, with Le10Sport [via Daily Mail] claiming that the French club believe they can sign the forward for a transfer fee between £36m and £45m. PSG seem to be of signing a striker in the next transfer window as the club has not yet exercised the option to make Icardi's loan move from Inter permanent.

Aubameyang has been strongly linked with an exit from the club, with FC Barcelona also considered to be among clubs keen on signing him. However, the Catalans seem to have cooled their interest in the former Borussia Dortmund striker, and are focusing on landing a deal for Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.
