Former Juventus midfielder Emre Can has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo as a leader and revealed that the Portuguese maestro's mood on matchdays depends on the results of practice matches in training.

Since moving to Borussia Dortmund, Can has been a mainstay in their midfield, unlike at Juventus. As reported by Football Italia, who quote Bild, Can spoke about Ronaldo as he said, "Cristiano Ronaldo is a leader and a winner."

He added, "He (Ronaldo) also drives you in training games. If he loses, he remains in a bad mood. But if he wins, on the other hand, he is happy and never misses a chance to make fun of the losers and make them carry the defeat."

Additionally, Can also spoke about his current adventure with Dortmund and he also revealed how the atmosphere in his new stadium is similar to the one he experienced during his time at Liverpool, at Anfield.

“I came here because I want to win the Championship,” he said about his move to the Westfalenstadion. “The environment is perfect and very reminiscent of that at Liverpool. It’s no coincidence that both clubs and fans love the same person, [former Dortmund coach] Jurgen Klopp."
