Arsenal midfielder, Dani Ceballos recently revealed when the Premier League will restart once again, claiming that the league will resume on the 20th of June after it was suspended due to the coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic.
The top-flight teams had voted unanimously to get their players to return to training at a shareholders meeting on Monday, which would allow players to get back to the training pitch in a limited capacity in what is being called "Project Restart".
Dani Ceballos: "We are going to start a week late with respect to what is being talked about in Spain, which is June 12, & we are going to start the league [in England] on the 20th. We passed the test 48 hours ago & the results of the whole team were negative" #Arsenal pic.twitter.com/FWSHIWcuej— Gurjit (@GurjitAFC) May 21, 2020
COVID-19 tests were conducted on Sunday and Monday and now the Spaniard has claimed that the campaign will restart on the 20th of June.
“We are going to start a week late with respect to what is being talked about in Spain, which is June 12, and we are going to start the league on the 20th. 48 hours ago we passed the tests and the truth is that the entire team have given a negative result, he said as per RTVE.
The 23-year-old who moved to Arsenal from Real Madrid on a one-year loan has been heavily linked with a return to his parent club once the season ends, considering that despite being making 24 appearances so far, he has yet to impress on a consistent basis.
