English Premier League side, Arsenal have opened talks with Juventus' Adrien Rabiot, who has been linked with an exit from the Turin-based outfit, according to Le10Sport [via Mirror].

Rabiot, who joined Juventus ahead of the current season on a free transfer after his contract with PSG ran out, was tipped to be key player for the Old Lady in the midfield, but things have not gone according to the plan. The French midfielder has struggled in his debut season in Italy and has found it difficult to earn a starting role in an already star-studded midfield.

It is said that the 25-year-old is looking for an exit, with a host of clubs, including Arsenal and Everton emerging as potential destinations for the former PSG midfielder. The Toffees are also said to have began negotiations with the French international.

Rumours suggest that Juventus are willing to let go of the midfielder as they plan to raise funds to sign former player Paul Pogba from Manchester United in the summer transfer window. The club is also in talks with Barcelona over a swap deal, that would see trusted midfielder Miralem Pjanic depart the club for greener pastures in Barcelona. However, which all players would be involved in the swap deal - if it takes places - has not been confirmed yet.
