Van de Beek had scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in 37 games for Ajax this season before the campaign was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, he has previously confirmed that he was in no hurry to seek a move away from the Eredivisie.


"Nothing is official (with Real Madrid). There is no contract. That is the situation. That has not changed throughout the season," he said. I don't want to choose.
