FC Barcelona are reportedly plotting a swap deal to bring back former star Neymar Jr from Paris Saint-Germain.

A report in the Sky Sports [via ESPN] suggests Barcelona are looking to offer Antoine Griezmann and around €50million to PSG in order to sign Neymar in the next transfer window. Neymar and Griezmann are valued at €150m and €100m, respectively.

Barcelona have been long linked with a move for Neymar. The PSG attacker had left Camp Nou for greener pastures in a world-record-breaking deal in 2017.

However, things have not turned out for him as he would have wanted, as he could not inpsire the French outfit to glory in the UEFA Champions League. If Barcelona manage to pull off a deal for the 28-year-old, it will see the Brazilian showman returning to La Liga after three years.

Meanwhile, Griezmann, whom the Catalan outfit signed last summer, has failed to live up to the expectations at the club and they are reportedly looking to offload the Frenchman - whether to PSG or some other club.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if any of these transfers that involve staggering transfer fees take place in the summer, with some clubs reportedly hit by financial losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.
