Neymar has decided to take Barcelona to court for the third time since leaving the Catalans in 2017. The Brazilian wants the Camp Nou outfit to reimburse him for the contingency payments that he had to make based on fictitious contracts.
According to reports in Spain, the former Santos star has filed a third legal claim against the Blaugranas. The Brazil star wants a whopping €6.5million for the contingency payments that he had to meet for the fictitious contracts regarding his transfer from Santos to Camp Nou.

This is the third time that Neymar is taking his former club to court. The first time was in 2018 when he thought that the Catalans owed him €28.6million. He claimed that the Blaugranas were obligated to pay him that amount as a bonus for signing an extension with the club shortly before he left the Catalan giants for Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar then made his second claim against the Catalans in December last year as his lawyers looked for €3.5million in unpaid wages.
There have been rumours of the Brazilian wanting to go back to Camp Nou but his recent lawsuit against them might be the final nail in the coffin. Messi might be an advocate for Neymar to move to Barcelona but after a third lawsuit, the relationship between the club and the Brazilian might just be irreparable.
