Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry has one fault and that is to look for the easy way out sometimes. The former Gunner forward was vital against the Londoners at Stamford Bridge in the last match as he scored a brace to help his side win 3-0 in the first leg.

With this win, the Bavarians have an almost unassailable lead to defend at Allianz Arena. Meanwhile, Wenger was full of praise for his former player, stating that he has everything that one could ask from an attacker – from pace to power – but the question is whether he is willing to suffer in order to get to the top as he sometimes looks for the easy way out.

“This guy has no real limitations,” Wenger said, as per Goal. “It’s more about how much does he want to suffer?

“He has pace, power, technical ability, he is very intelligent but sometimes he looks for the easy way. That was his problem.”

Wenger then spoke about how Bayern signed him from Bremen and also added that the German has the ability to make it big.

“I sent him to West Brom and it didn’t work out at all. In fairness, I think we had an agreement with him and Bayern stole him away from Bremen. He is a good player. He has individual ability and collective ability.”
