Barcelona star Lionel Messi has revealed that his son Thiago speaks about some players with him, with Cristiano Ronaldo being one of them. The Argentine shares a great on-field rivalry with the Portuguese as the former Sporting star turned out to be the Barcelona captain’s only adversary in the past decade.

While Messi has six Ballon d’Ors to his name, the Portuguese has five and still looks good for at least one more given how well he has been playing this year so far.

Meanwhile, the Argentine magician spoke about his son in a recent interview and stated that Thiago takes a lot of interest in football and speaks about players like Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona and Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar from outside.

"He talks a lot about Luis [Suarez], with whom we have the best relationship, about [Antoine] Griezmann and Arturo [Vidal] since the first day because of his hair and all that,” he said, as per Sport Bible.

"Also about people from outside, [Kylian] Mbappe, Cristiano [Ronaldo], Neymar.”

Messi then went on to reveal that Thiago loves asking questions about the aforementioned players.

"Yeah, Thiago knows them all, he asks questions and likes it a lot."

It seems as though Thiago has inherited his father’s love for the game as he is already playing for Barcelona at the youth level and recently went viral for scoring an impressive goal.
