Reigning European champions Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Juventus are his favourites to win the UEFA Champions League this season.

The Reds travel to Spain to take on Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, but Klopp has stated that Maurizio Sarri's side will most definitely win European trophy at the end of this season.

"Juventus were my favourites before the season started but obviously I don't watch Italian football enough because I cannot work out why they are not 10 points ahead at the top of Serie A. They have the biggest squad I have ever seen in my life; quality players too, it's crazy." Klopp said as reported by The Guardian.

Juventus are currently leading the table in Serie A by one point in what has been a hotly contested league season in Italy this time out.

Klopp also went on to praise Premier League rivals Manhester City who are yet to win Europe's elite competition.

He said, "The Bayern Munich squad is also massive, PSG are incredible when they are all fit, you can never discount Barcelona and let's not forget Manchester City because the Champions League will be one of their big targets."

Revealing what matters most to him now, Klopp concluded, "I have no clue how far we can go but there's no need to think about it yet because at the moment all we need to concentrate on is Atletico on Tuesday."

Liverpool are currently 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League following Saturday's 1-0 victory over Norwich City and will face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League tonight.
