Brazil Olympic coach Andre Jardine has stated Reinier is a special talent who has the ability to define an era. The Brazilian youngster completed his move to Real Madrid this winter and is set to be presented next week.
The teenager made a name for himself at Flamengo in Brazil and was quickly snapped up by the Galacticos amid interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs. He was playing in the pre-Olympic tournament with Brazil and had a good outing and according to his coach Jardine, he is an era-defining player.

“It is difficult to find the right comparison, his characteristics are very special. He has everything to mark an era and be a decisive player,” he said, as per AS.
He then spoke about his move to Madrid, stating that the youngster is living his dream while also adding that he is someone with a lot of talent.
“Very calm and very happy because at the same time he managed to reach the national team and experience a very important personal moment. Going to a team of Madrid’s size, he is living a dream. I hope his great moments in Spain will be the same as we expect them to be in Brazil.
“I got to know him little by little. He has a lot of talent and at the same time a lot of ability to work in a team. His qualities are beyond the norm. He will do very well.”
