"Ziyech to Chelsea? A transfer was coming, we expected it to happen. And I actually already expected this 1 or 2 years earlier. And each time it was: 'Wow, he stayed again'. We are just happy that we will still have him until the end of the season."
Ziyech who will become Lampard's first signing at Chelsea currently wears the No.22 shirt at Ajax and could be given the jersey despite it belonging to Christian Pulisic - who could move on to either 10 or 11 considering that both Pedro and Willian are out of contract in the summer and could leave the club.
Alternatively, he could wear the No.10 or 11 as he has also worn the numbers for club and country in the past, respectively.
