Paris Saint-Germain striker, Edinson Cavani's agent is reportedly in Spain in order to finalise a move for his client to Atletico Madrid with the Dailymail claiming that the Uruguayan has handed in a transfer request in order to leave the French capital.
Cavani has been heavily linked with a move away from PSG after struggling for gametime under manager, Thomas Tuchel this season - partly due to injury and partly due to the arrival of striker, Mauro Icardi on a season-long loan from Inter Milan.

Atletico for their part are very keen to add Cavani to their squad and have already seen a bid of £8.4million rejected for the striker by PSG, with it being understood that they would be willing to increase it to £12.6m, though the French side want a fee in the region of £25m for him.
Atletico are not the only side who seem to want to secure the services of the striker with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea too making inquiries only for the 32-year-old to reject their advances.
Cavani who moved to PSG from Napoli in 2013, is PSG's all-time leading goalscorer with 198 goals from 292 appearances and despite being 32, he represents a good short-term solution for clubs struggling with lack of firepower.
