Manchester United have been urged to sign Leeds United boss, Marcelo Bielsa as the manager of the club. The Red Devils once again find themselves on a rough patch with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job being under more risk than ever before.

As a result, Mauricio Pochettino’s name is once again being linked to the Red Devils but former Chelsea star Tony Cascarino thinks that the Old Trafford outfit should look to sign Marcelo Bielsa from Leeds United.

The Argentine is a legendary name among coaches as some of the world’s finest have named him as their inspiration. Indeed, Pochettino himself once stated that he considers Bielsa as his mentor.

As a result, Cascarino thinks that the Argentine would be a good choice for United as he could improve their style of play to a more attractive and attacking brand, citing his work at Leeds as an example of what he is capable of.

“Pochettino is flavour of the month,” Cascarino told the Weekend Breakfast show. “I’d have Bielsa over Pochettino every day of the week.

“Look at what he’s changed at Leeds. Pochettino was a very good manager at Spurs. He’s done an incredible job. But I’m talking about style of play. Remember, Pochettino is a disciple of Bielsa and the way he plays.

“If you were looking for a manager who has played with Manchester United’s traditional aggressive, attack-minded style, Bielsa would be my first choice.”
