Kylian Mbappe has been linked with Real Madrid ever since he burst on to the scene with Monaco. Then, quite shockingly, he decided to move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017 instead of Real Madrid.
However, even then, there was a feeling that PSG was just going to be an intermediary club for the player before he jumps ship to the Galacticos and now, that time might be closer than ever before.
According to a report from AS, the Frenchman is following the way of Eden Hazard to carve out a road that would take him to the Santiago Bernabeu. The Belgian used the media to express his admiration for Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane years before the move eventually happened.

The same thing is being done by the French World Cup winner as he recently claimed that Zinedine Zidane was his first idol and was followed by another Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
While he refused to speak about the stories linking him to Madrid directly, he did add a subtle hint by stating that if he does address the rumours, it wouldn’t be good for PSG.
Mbappe also once stated that he loves the way Brazilian footballers’ play, which also hints towards a move to Madrid as the Merengues now have 6 Brazilians in their ranks.
The love is not one-sided, however, as Zidane has also weighed in on the issue, having previously claimed that it was one of Mbappe’s dreams to play for Madrid.
Most recently, Madrid defender Nacho also had a say about the issue, stating that “if he's sending us signs, we have to be alert to receiving them.”
