Serie A champions, Juventus have rejected a bid of 10million plus Ivan Rakitic by European giants, Barcelona for winger, Federico Bernadeschi as per a report in Sky Italia as quoted by Dailymail.

Bernadeschi has made 14 appearances for the Bianconeri so far this term, but has fallen down the pecking order under manager, Maurizio Sarri in recent times as he was an unused substitute in their last four league games.

With Sarri preferring winger, Douglas Costa it is understood that the Italian might struggle for gametime and despite this - the Bianconeri have rejected a 10m offer plus Rakitic for Bernadeschi.

According to Sky Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, it will take a bid of atleast 20m plus Rakitic to convince Juventus to let go off the winger, which might deter the Catalan giants in their bid to sign the Italian.

The 25-year-old is highly rated by many including Italy national manager, Roberto Mancini who has ensured that he has become a regular for the Azzurri over the past year and has so far netted nine goals in 89 appearances for Juventus.

Meanwhile Rakitic's future at the Nou Camp has been under question for sometime now with him also being linked to Inter Milan, though with midfielder, Arthur Melo suffering an injury, he might just be kept by them due to paucity of options in midfield.

It will be interesting to see how this double transfer saga plays out in the future as both the players are currently unsettled at their respective clubs.
