Barcelona manager Quique Setien has admitted that the Camp Nou outfit are looking for a forward after the injury to Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan is possibly out for the rest of the season after being operated on his right knee.

As a result, Barcelona have only one true striker left in the squad in the form of Antoine Griezmann and could find themselves in a world of trouble if the Frenchman falls prey to the fangs of injury.

Therefore, there are whispers about the Blaugranas looking to sign a striker to ease the load on Griezmann and when asked about the issue, Setien claimed that they are indeed considering the possibility.

“It's something that we are considering; we've been talking about it and we'll have to see how things pan out. It's not an issue that worries me too much. I am more worried about Ibiza and Valencia. We'll talk it over with the technical department,” he was quoted by AS.

Lionel Messi is expected to be rested in the Copa del Rey match against Ibiza but Setien refused to reveal his plans outright when asked about it.

“First we need to see how the players get on in training, I have an idea about the team I'll field, but I need to see how the other players do in the session. We'll be fielding a competitive and balanced team.”
