​Manchester United fans have taken to social media to hit out at the club's executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward after young sensation, Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick for ​Borussia Dortmund on his debut for them.


The 19-year-old who moved to Dortmund from RB Salzburg at the end of December for €22.5million, was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, with the Guardian in the past revealing that United were very keen on signing the striker, only to pull out due to demands made by his agent, Mino Raiola, and his father, former Manchester City player Alf-Inge Haaland.


His hat-trick on debut in the Bundesliga has now irked the United supporters who could not resist but take a dig at Woodward, who they believe was responsible for them not being able to sign him.


 






Haaland who is widely considered as the next big thing in football has been in brilliant form over the past year or so and at 19, he is still has time on his side and could be
