Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to offer Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola a huge contract in order to prise him away from the English club in the summer, with the Spaniard their first choice to be head coach should they part ways with Thomas Tuchel.

Guardiola is currently contracted with City till the end of next season, but there has been growing speculation over his future after the inconsistent performances of his City side this season, especially considering that they won back-to-back Premier League titles while also becoming the first club to achieve the domestic treble in English top-flight history.

While Guardiola for his part has insisted that he intends to honour his contract with City, Express now reports that the French giants have earmarked the Spaniard as the one who could take them to the top of the European summit and are prepared to make a huge offer - one which they hope he will not refuse.

"Unless they sack me, I am staying, 100 per cent. It's not because we have won the last two games. Even if it was going bad, I'm not going anywhere. No manager wins all the time. I enjoy working with these players. We've lost some games so it is simple, we need to work out what we can do better," Guardiola said when asked about his future following City's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Widely hailed as one of the best managers in the history of the sport, it will be interesting to see whether PSG can lure him away from Manchester as there is no doubt that his arrival at France will be a big coup for them.
