Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has been touted to join Real Madrid this summer by French journalist Julien Laurens. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu ever since he burst into the scene as a teenager.

Mbappe has got off to a flying start this season, scoring 21 goals from 22 matches in all competitions so far. In the upcoming summer, he will have just two years remaining on his deal, which is why there are reports of the Galacticos making a move for him.

According to Laurens, there is a high chance that the World Cup winner could join the Merengues this summer. While PSG are attempting to keep him for another year at least, there is a chance that he could go as it is one of his dreams to play for the Blancos and the legendary Zinedine Zidane.

“It pains me to say it, but there’s a possibility, even a big possibility [of Mbappe leaving PSG],” Laurens said, as quoted by Team Talk.

He concluded, “PSG are really pushing hard to sign Mbappe to a new deal. They want to secure him for at least one year. But there’s a chance that he goes in the summer. That’s his dream, to play for Real Madrid and play for Zinedine Zidane. It will happen at some point, will it happen this summer? I’m hoping it will be one more year.”
