Bayern Munich attacking duo Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry have comfortably emerged as Europe's top strike pairing in terms of goal numbers in the 2019/20 season.

According to a list released by BleacherReport, the duo has notched up 41 goals and 10 assists between them. A bulk of those goals, of course, can be attributed to the stormer of a season the Polish striker is having so far.

Lewandowski has scored 30 goals in just 25 games including 19 in 17 league games.

Lionel Messi, who won his sixth Ballon d'Or last year, only finds himself in sixth spot on the list along side Uruguyan marksman Luis Suarez, having scored 30 goals combined for Barcelona so far this season.

PSG's freescoring duo of Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi takes second spot on the list with 38 goals and 15 assists but Liverpool's lethal wingers Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah only manage the 9th highest goal tally between them.

A surprise inclusion is that of Manchester United pair Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, 22 and 18 years old respectively, who have managed 30 goals between them this season.

Other notable striker partnerships on the list include Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, RB Leipzig's Timo Werner and Marcel Sabitzer and Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling.
