Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri has stated that Lionel Messi having more Ballon d’Ors than Cristiano Ronaldo is annoying and that he will try his best to help the Portuguese tie with the Argentine.
The Portugese saw Messi take over him once again last year as the Argentine won his sixth Ballon d’Or in 2019. There was a time when Messi had four Ballon d’Ors and Ronaldo had just the one but the Portugal captain crawled his way back to tie 5-5 with his greatest adversary in 2017.
Luka Modric won the award in 2018 to finally break the streak of the aforementioned duo but Messi once again took back the mantle of the best player in the world this year.

Meanwhile, Sarri has claimed that his and Juventus’ main goal is to help Ronaldo win the Ballon d’Or for the sixth time while also adding that he sees Paulo Dybala as a future winner of the award.
"I would like to help Cristiano win the sixth Ballon d'Or first," Sarri told reporters post-game in Turin, as per Goal.
"It's really annoying thinking that someone won more [Ballons d'Or] than him. I think about him and I think helping him, it is my goal and the goal of the team. It is right for him. Dybala is going to be one of the contenders in the next years. I think so," Sarri added.
