Premier League side, Everton are reportedly set to being talks with Carlo Ancelotti after he was sacked by Napoli last night. The former Chelsea boss was sacked by the Italian side, despite leading Napoli to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Ancelotti is understood to also be on the radar of Arsenal as they look to appoint a manager following the sacking of Unai Emery, but as per Mirror, Everton are looking to move ahead of the queue by setting up talks with the Italian.

The Toffees are another side who are in the search for a manager after the club management decided to let go off Marco Silva, with club legend Duncan Ferguson currently incharge of them on interim basis.

The 60-year-old who is widely considered as one of the greatest managers in the history of the sport took over the reigns of Napoli in 2018, helping them secure a second place finish in the Serie A behind Juventus last season.

Despite having a win percentage of 52, the poor run of results and behind the scenes unrest at the club made it untenable for him to stay. However, it will be interesting to see where the Italian lands up in the near future or whether he decides to take a break from management for the time being.
