Portugal and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly opened up on his move to Turin, with the Mirror reporting that he regrets leaving Real Madrid for the Bianconeri in 2018.

The 34-year-old shocked the world when he decided to end his glorious nine-year spell at the Bernabeu, with the striker choosing to move to Italy and Juventus. Despite winning the Serie A title in his first season, Ronaldo has told his former team-mates that he regrets making the move.

The move he believes has impacted him when it comes to individual honours, with Ronaldo certain that he would have won both the 2018 and 2019 Ballon d'Or awards if he had remained with the Los Blancos.

Furthermore it is understood that Ronaldo believes he is losing out on individual awards while playing in Italy, though it is difficult to be certain whether that is the case. Despite his misgivings, he had a brilliant start to life in the Serie A, as he scored 21 goals in 31 games to net the 2018/19 Serie A Player of the Year award.

However, the striker has found the going tough this time around as he has only netted nine goals in 18 games amid speculation that he and manager, Maurizio Sarri have had a falling out.
