Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to social networking site, Instagram to send a message to the club's fans following their disappointing 2-2 draw with Sassuolo in the Serie A on Sunday.

Ronaldo scored from the penalty spot to ensure that the defending champions came out of the encounter with a point after trailing in the second half. Despite scoring the leveller, the 34-year-old did not have the best of games personally, but insisted that the squad is working hard to achieve their goals for the season.

"Not the result we wanted but we will keep working hard to achieve our goals," Ronaldo wrote on Instagram.

Juventus' result on the night meant that they dropped down to second in the Serie A table, with Inter Milan leapfrogging them to the top, registering 37 points as compared to 36 for the Bianconeri.

Despite grinding out results, Maurizio Sarri's side do not look like they are their fluent best with the team struggling to dominate games. They will need to pull up their socks when they are next in action against Lazio in the league on Sunday, the 8th of November.

Ronaldo like his team is yet to fire on all cylinders so far this season, scoring seven goals in 16 appearances in all competitions this season and will look to increase those numbers in the future.
