Eden Hazard has revealed he rejected multiple offers from Paris Saint-Germain because he couldn't play for any other French team apart from Lille.
But the Belgian has claimed that he would only return to Ligue 1 if it was with his old club, Lille.
"I will never play for PSG. They have wanted me many times," he told L’Equipe.
"I don’t have any intention to return to a Ligue 1 club other than Lille. I have always said no to them [PSG]. In my head everything is clear. It is a team that would give you a chance of winning the Champions League, but they are not among my priorities. If I return to Ligue 1, it will be Lille."
Hazard's ties to Lille run deep after he helped the club win the double of Ligue 1 and Coupe de France during the 2010/11 season.
When asked what he thinks about Frank Lampard at Chelsea, he added, "I know Frank as a player, not as a manager, but he's a great guy. He's showed already after four months that he can be one of the best managers in the world.
"The good thing is that they are playing with young players, young English players. For England it's good, for Chelsea it's good. They are lucky to have young players with quality," he concluded.
