The scene created by Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction on being substituted off by Maurizio Sarri early in the second half against AC Milan has been a major talking point in the footballing world for the past week.
From claims that the club should punish the Juventus hitman for his reaction, to suggestions he may face a Serie A ban, reports on Wednesday reveal that the players that share the dressing room with him are not looking for any apologies.
According to Tuttosport, the acceptance from the players is because they understand that the reaction was just part of his character, something that Sarri had already justified at the post-match press conference. They are also very aware that he regrets what he did.

The Italian newspaper further adds that the players are aware of his persona and are wanting to do everything they can to help Ronaldo get comfortable and regain his form.
Furthermore, the players know that an in-form Ronaldo could be their best chance at winning silverware this season, majorly when it comes to the UEFA Champions League.
Cristiano Ronaldo has played 1,217 minutes across 14 games for Juventus this season. In that time he has scored six goals and provided two assists. His numbers might not be impressive yet but that doesn't diminish the impact his presence brings to the Bianconeri squad.
