Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been handed out a £300m transfer kitty for the summer transfer window following the end of the 2019/20 Premier League season.

Additionally, the Red Devils have also listed three players who they intend to bring in next summer as part of their summer spending.

Mirror quote the Mail in confirming United's interest in James Maddison and Moussa Dembele, who have both been linked with the Red Devils in the past.

The report further states that none of the above players are likely to be available in January but United are ready to wait until next summer to sign the Lyon and Leicester's attacking stars.

Moreover, Solskjaer is also reportedly closely monitoring Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez with the view to signing the Spaniard. Manchester United had been keen on Saul during David Moyes tenure at Old Trafford, when the midfielder was just 19.

However, Saul opted to remain with Atletico and is now slated by many as one of the leading young midfielders in Europe. While United still deal with the uncertainty of their star midfielder Paul Pogba's future at Old Trafford, they have also set eyes on RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Liverpool have been linked with the Germany international for quite some time but United are reportedly interested, although they may yet again, have to wait until next summer for any developments.
