Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly doing everything they can in order to collate funds and bid for French duo N'Golo Kante and Kylian Mbappe in the upcoming few transfer windows.
While it is not expected that they will be able to land either of the Frenchmen in January, Los Blancos are reportedly confident they can lure Kante to the Santiago Bernabeu next summer, and could target Mbappe in 2021 when his contract is reaching its end at Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Spanish publication El Desmarque, Kante is one of Zinedine Zidane's 'dream' signings and the Real Madrid coach sees him as a future star in defensive midfield for his team.
The report goes on to claim that in return for Kante, Madrid are planning to offer star midfielder James Rodriguez to Chelsea. Reports claim Madrid are willing to offer up to £86m plus Rodriguez for Kante.
Meanwhile Marca claim Los Blancos are still desperate to sign Mbappe and are reportedly willing to wait as long as 2021 in order to get their target signing.
It has been widely reported that Florentino Perez is obsessed with Mbappe and even though he would take the striker without battering an eyelid, he is said to be patient in his approach for the forward as he expects Mbappe to not renew his contract with the French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Madrid have made a great start to the new La Liga season and were top of the table heading into the international break.
