Liverpool fans are using Instagram to upload photos from their beloved Anfield stadium the most as compared to other clubs' fans of other clubs in their home stadiums, as per results from a conducted research.
While Jurgen Klopp's team is on top of the Premier League, their fans have also taken their club to the top of the social media standings.
Research done by liverugbytickets.co.uk found that the hashtag Anfield had 893,689 posts on Instagram up until the beginning of August.
Other than Manchester United's Old Trafford, whose hashtags are on 823,270, the total from Anfield is more than double any other sports stadium in the country.
Rugby stadium Allianz Park in London came in at third place with 429,294 hashtags. Chelsea's Stamford Bridge (385,149) and national stadium Wembley (306,912) completed the top five stadiums in terms of social media posts in England.
Arsenal's Emirates Stadium (190,984) came in sixth place with the Etihad (135,222) in seventh and Villa Park eighth (84,538).
