Data collection and analysis centre Transfermarkt set up a feature on their website where random fixtures are created with the Premier League's 20 clubs and fans are invited to vote on which team they think would win.

After the votes are in, the website works their magic on numbers in order to chalk out a percentage and reveal the number of fans who voted for the wins and losses for all teams.

Recent results see Liverpool bag 70 per cent win rate, well ahead of second-placed Arsenal, who took home 62 per cent. Leicester City claimed the third place with 59 per cent and Southampton came fourth with 58 per cent.

Furthermore, Manchester United secured 51 per cent in ninth place while fierce rivals Manchester City only managed to secure 34 per cent and 19th position.
