The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, Gerardo Rabadja, has stated that the Uruguayan could play alongside Paul Pogba in the future, hinting towards a possible move for the player.

The Galacticos had been linked with a move for the Frenchman all throughout the summer but weren’t able to sign him. As a result, Zinedine Zidane had his hands tied and had to use Federico Valverde in midfield.

The results, so far, have been great. He has played five times for the Merengues and has an assist to his name. He was named as the Man of the Match for his performance against Granada in Madrid’s last match, for which he drew comparisons with Steven Gerrard and Paul Pogba.

Meanwhile, Rabajda stated that his client could play with Pogba in the future but believes that the Uruguayan youngster shouldn’t get carried away.

"Pogba is a great player," Rabajda told Radio MARCA. "In the future, they could play together, but you have to be cautious."

"The future is promising but Fede has to keep his feet on the ground," he explained. "He knows he's had this chance but he has to stay and keep growing."

Rabajda then hyped the youngster as a potential Ballon d’Or winner while also speaking about his polite personality.

"Fede is a boy with a lot of personality and sometimes his polite and respectful manner can be confused for him seeming off. He's proven on the pitch to have status. He knows when to speak and when to stay quiet. We're talking about a future Ballon d'Or winner."
