FC Goa are one of the strongest sides in the Indian Super League and they could become the first team in the league's history to achieve the milestone of winning 50 games.

Till now, the Gaurs have as many as 38 wins to their name which means they would have to come up with their best ever ISL league stage performance by winning 12 games this season.

3. Six clubs will play their 100th ISL game

Six teams out of the current eight, who have been part of the Indian Super League since its first season will play their 100th match in the Hero ISL.

ATK, Kerala Blasters FC, Chennaiyin FC, FC Goa, Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC are the clubs that will achieve this milestone.

FC Goa will reach this milestone in their 12th match of the season, followed by ATK and Chennaiyin, who will hit the century in their 14th match of the campaign.

Among these six, only NorthEast will need to reach the semi-finals this season to reach the magic number of 100 games played.

Additionally, it would be necessary to mention here two new teams have been added to the league this season with Hyderabad FC and Odisha FC being the new franchisees with Delhi Dynamos and FC Pune City closing down their operations.

While Delhi's players and management have switched over to Odisha with a continuation of their previous contracts, ESPN reported that Hyderabad FC are also going to continue with a large number of FC Pune players and their most recent coach Phil Brown, who had signed a contract extension with Pune City for two more seasons at the end of his 2018-19 stint.
