Real Sociedad star Martin Odegaard, who is on loan from​ Real Madrid, has revealed that he is in contact with his parent club as he stated that the Galacticos write to him to inform him that they are happy with the progress that he has been showing at Anoeta.


The Norwegian has taken La Liga by storm with his work with La Real. Sociedad are currently placed fifth in the league table, just 5 points behind league leaders Real Madrid, and Odegaard has played a key role in the Basque outfit’s rise.



So far this season, he has played 8 times in the league and has two goals and assists each from them. His performances have raised talks of an early recalling by Madrid, who have praised him for his work so far.


"I am in contact with Real Madrid, as sometimes they write to me to tell me how they see me," he was quoted by Marca.


"They have congratulated me and praised my good start in the league. They have told me that they are happy with me."


The Norway star then confirmed that he wants to see out the two-years’ loan deal with Sociedad as he is happy in the team.


"The idea is to respect [the loan deal]," he said. "I am happy at the team, and so I want to continue here until my two years end."
