Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi's father has reportedly met with representatives of David Beckham's new Major League Soccer (MLS) club, Inter Miami over a potential move to the club in the future.

Messi's future at the Nou Camp came under speculation recently after it emerged that he has a clause in his contract which allows him to leave the club at the end of the season, now that he has turned 32.

The Argentinian superstar who is widely considered as the best player in the history of the sport is said to be a target of former Real Madrid star, Beckham who is a part owner of Inter, with the Sun reporting that he sent his sporting director, Paul McDonough for talks with Messi's dad.

Messi's father and McDonough spoke regarding a potential deal on Monday, with one option being that the striker could be shared by two clubs, similar to the deal Beckham was on when he played for LA Galaxy in the MLS.

Despite these developments, Messi is expected to stay with the club for the foreseeable future considering that he has remained at the Nou Camp throughout his entire career and that the club management are considering offering him a lifetime contract in order to keep the five-time Ballon d'Or winner for the entirety of his career.
