Manchester United newcomer Daniel James has heaped praise on the fans for their support towards the club. The winger joined the Red Devils from Swansea this summer and has been exception for the Old Trafford outfit.
Speaking about his initial experience with the team, he recalled his home debut and dubbed the atmosphere as ‘amazing’ as the fans ensured that they were making noise all throughout the match.
“Coming out to Old Trafford on my starting home debut [against Crystal Palace] was amazing,” Manchester Evening News quoted him as saying.
"You really feel it – I got goosebumps when I came out. The atmosphere was amazing. You hear them all game.”
He then spoke about the away fans as he revealed that he was amazed with the number of fans that turn up at away matches. He also believes that the away fans are just as cheerful as the home and is of the opinion that they will need such support from the fans throughout the rest of the season as they are the 12th player of the club.
"The away fans at Wolves and the amount of people that come is amazing as well. You could say they were as loud as the home fans, and that’s something that’s going to be very important again this year – for them to be behind us and be our 12th player."
