Wolves defender Jesus Vallejo has expressed his delight at joining the club from Real Madrid on loan. The defender was let go by the Galacticos on loan as he would have found it difficult to find playing time with the arrival of Eder Militao.

Vallejo himself revealed that the Merengues recommended him to move to Wolves in the Premier League as it would improve his footballing abilities. He also stated that he believes it was the right decision to join Wolves as the club have made him feel really wanted.

"Real Madrid strongly recommended I should come to the Premier League to improve my football," Vallejo was quoted as saying by Daily Mail.

"I think it was the right decision. I feel really wanted here. Nuno called me saying he needed me to come and help the team."

The former Zaragoza star then went on to claim that he is happy and can play in a three-man defence or on the right-hand side as feels at home in Nuno Espirito’s system.

"I've been very happy in my first month. I played in a three-man defence at Real Zaragoza and Eintracht Frankfurt (loan). At Wolverhampton, I tend to play more on the right side but I can genuinely play in any of the three defensive positions. Truth is I feel very at ease in Nuno's system."
