Barcelona's new signing, Junior Firpo has revealed that there is no beef with club icon, Lionel Messi after a number of his old tweets resurfaced where he made comments against the Argentinian ahead of his move to the Nou Camp.
The 23-year-old had in 2012 took to social networking site, Twitter to claim that he could, "probably break both of Lionel Messi's legs" with "one kick", while also calling the five-time Ballon d'Or winner a "son of a b***h."
Firpo has since been involved in training with Messi and has revealed that he doesn't even think if the talisman knew about it.

"Of course. I see him every day in the changing room. I know you're asking this because of the old tweets I made but that's in the past and we've squashed that. It isn't something I want to make a bigger deal out of," Firpo said to SPORT.
"I don't think he even knew. I was a kid who came through the academy at Betis and I don't think Messi is going to care about that."
The left-back who came through the youth academy at Real Betis moved to Barcelona earlier in the summer for €18million and is yet to make his competitive debut for the club.
