Italian giants Inter Milan are looking to push through for their second signing from Manchester United in this summer's transfer window in the form of Alexis Sanchez.

Antonio Conte's side want 30-year-old Sanchez on loan until the end of the season with a £15m option to make the move permanent next summer. However, this comes at a cost for United as the Red Devils will have to subsidise Sanchez’s whopping £500,000-a-week wages.

Mirror claim that talks between the two sides are ongoing as Conte intends to strengthen his strike-force and Inter have also spoken to Sanchez and his agent regarding the move.

However, for United to go ahead and sell Sanchez could be a major gamble considering the fact that they have no other recognised strikers in their squad as replacements for Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial.

Moreover, Sanchez has made it clear that he wants to quit Old Trafford just 18 months after signing for them from Arsenal. The Chilean's move to United has proved to be a proper disaster as his insane wages have caused major squad problems with top players like David De Gea asking for parity.

Should Inter complete a deal to bring the Chilean to the San Siro, Sanchez would be reuniting with his former Old Trafford teammate Romelu Lukaku, who Inter snapped up earlier this month following their summer-long pursuit of the former Chelsea and Everton forward.
