As Barcelona recover from their shocking loss to Athletic Bilbao on the opening day of the new La Liga season, they are unwilling to give up on signing Neymar just yet and Le Parisien report that the Blaugrana will present a new offer to Paris Saint Germain this week despite the gap in valuation between the two sides.

The newspaper claims that Barcelona will make an improved offer for the Brazilian but they are unsure as to what that offer will consist of.

Philippe Coutinho, who was considered a key part of any potential deal, is on his way to Bayern and Barcelona will have to come up with a different proposal now if they are to gain the attention of PSG.

AS report that PSG were earlier demanding €100m along with the inclusion of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele. However, both those demands were not taken into consideration.

The French publication also went on to speculate that Barcelona's directors are bluffing over Neymar in an effort to appease Messi. The Argentine captain and leader of the team wants Neymar back in Barcelona and has applied pressure to make it happen. Barcelona would also like Neymar to publicly express his desire to wear the blaugrana shirt again.

As far as Neymar's talks with Real Madrid are concerned, both Le Parisien and L'Equipe have claimed that discussions over a move have not stopped between Los Blancos and Neymar's representative, Pini Zahavi.
