5 Big European Deals That Could Happen Before the Transfer Window Closes

The summer transfer window might have closed in England, but it is open till the 2nd of September in the other European leagues. Here, we take a look at the five top transfers that could still happen.

1. Neymar (PSG) - Teams Interested - Barcelona, Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Neymar has been a subject of a never ending transfer saga in the summer and has been heavily linked with a move away, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid interested in his services.

The Brazilian for his part has expressed a desire to leave the club and while Barcelona are said to be his choice of destination, Madrid too would not be a bad club to move to. The Catalans had lodged a bid for their former player, but it is understood that PSG will not sell him for anything less than the €222million they paid for him in 2017.

2. Paulo Dybala (Juventus) - Teams Interested - PSG

Juventus star, Paulo Dybala is reportedly surplus to requirements at the club and is running out of options after turning down Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the summer. One club that could be an option is Paris Saint-Germain, who are interested in him and are reportedly willing to offer him a salary of £11m-a-year.

3. Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan) - Teams Interested - Napoli, Juventus

Another player who is highly talented and is not wanted by his club is striker, Mauro Icardi who is not part of Antonio Conte's plans going forward. The Argentinian who has been Inter's top goalscorer for the past four years has been plagued by off field controversy, but that has not deterred Juventus and Napoli from expressing interest.

The playmaker has attracted interest from Napoli and Atletico Madrid, with the Italians especially keen to sign him, though nothing has come out of it currently.
