Cristiano Ronaldo once again finds himself among the favourites for the Ballon d'Or, FIFA's The Best award and UEFA's European Player of the Year award this year after having a brilliant campaign, both in terms of his club Juventus as well as country, Portugal.

The Portuguese maestro was instrumental as Juventus won Serie A and the Supercoppa Italiana, while he also played a starring role in Portugal's successful UEFA Nations League campaign, wherein they won the inaugural continental tournament.

Ronaldo ended his domestic season with 28 goals and 10 assists for Juventus and was named the best player in Serie A. Moreover, in the UEFA Champions League, Ronaldo won his 100th game and scored his 126th goal.

Not only that, the Portuguese legend netted three times for his country, with all three goals coming against Switzerland in the semi-finals of the Nations League in Porto. He also featured in the final of the same tournament that was won by Portugal.

All these accolades and performances last season definitely elevates Ronaldo to be a contender for a sixth Ballon d'Or, his third 'The Best' award and his fifth UEFA player of the year award in his career.

Moreover, this year, Ronaldo also became the first player in history to have won 10 titles that were affiliated with UEFA. He also is the first player to score in all of his national team finals.
