Juventus have once again proven why they are the undisputed kings of the summer transfer window. In terms of players, they have brought in a blend of youth and established players without actually spending huge money.

The recent coup of Matthijs De Ligt for £67.5m is their biggest signing of the summer window. However, despite spending such a huge amount, the Bianconeri have already gone on and balanced their books by selling squad players.

Leonardo Spinazzola was sold to Serie A rivals AS Roma for a reported £26.3m, while the trio of Emil Audero, Stefano Sturaro and Mattia Perin have left the Turin based club for a combined £46.2m.

Not only that, the Turin giants have also brought in some incredible free transfers, something that they excel at. Gianluigi Buffon returned, while Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot too joined for free. They also signed Brazilian teenager Wesley on a free transfer from Flamengo.

To put it all into perspective, as per data from Transfermarkt, since 2009, Juventus have signed Fabio Cannavaro, Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Kingsley Coman among others on a free, which is actually quite insane!

The signings that Juventus have made this season definitely propels them to be the ultimate favourites to win the UEFA Champions League in the upcoming season.
