Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Neymar has stepped up the charm offensive in order to seal a return to Barcelona, with the winger now hailing his former team-mate, Lionel Messi, calling him, "the best player he has seen".

It is no secret that Neymar is looking for a move away from France, with PSG's sporting director, Leonardo recently confirming that the player is free to leave as long as the club receive the right offer for him.

A return to the Nou Camp has repeated been touted in the media, though no official bid has been made by the Catalan giants so far. This though has not deterred the player who is pulling all the stops to ensure a return to Spain.

"For me, he's the best player in the world. The best player that I've ever seen play. We made a magnificent duo. It was a pleasure for me, an honor to play with him. And, on top of that, he is my friend," Neymar said as quoted by Daily Record.

His efforts seem to be working with Messi himself pushing the club to move for the Brazilian who he believes would add spark to the squad following their capitulation to Liverpool in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

It will be interesting to see where Neymar ends up in the summer, considering that there are very few clubs present who would afford to sign him.
