Italian giants, Juventus have reportedly agreed terms with Ajax to sign starlet, Matthijs de Ligt in a deal worth £67.5million, according to Sky Sports Italy. The club have understood to have agreed terms with the defenders agent, Mino Raiola and he is set to arrive at Turin for a medical on Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Italians worth £10.8m-a-year plus bonuses which is a significant rise in the salary that he was receiving at Ajax. The defender was left out of Ajax's pre-season tour of Austria, after the club confirmed that he is "awaiting a possible transfer".

"We're about to close De Ligt's transfer. We're waiting for the latest bank guarantees before confirming the deal. We're hoping it will work out as soon as possible, but we're hopeful it will be," Ajax director Marc Overmars said on Monday.
Widely considered to be one of the best young talents in the world, De Ligt was on the radar of a number of top clubs like Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain following his performances last season, where he helped Ajax clinch the domestic double and led them to the semi-final stage of the UEFA Champions League.
At only 19, he will get only better and is expected to become the best defender in the world in the near future.
