PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn will be patient for an offer from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, according to his agent, even as Manchester United are reportedly linked with a move for the player.

Bergwijn had a successful 2018/19 season for PSV, scoring 15 goals in all competitions, almost doubling his tally of eight goals in the previous campaign. Although Bayern want Leroy Sane, they are reluctant to pay the 80 million Manchester City want, in which case Bergwijn would be their next choice.

The player’s agent, Fulco van Kooperen, has insisted that they are not getting impatient and will wait for the Bavarian giants, but has also warned that there are other clubs interested in the player.

“We have never, never said we are losing patience,” Van Kooperen told ESPN

“Bayern are a great and huge club and it's great they like Steven. They can take all the time they need. On the other side, it's not a secret there are more clubs which like him."

The winger had a few days ago suggested that he would be open to a move to Manchester United as well, while at the same time saying he was in no hurry to leave PSV. If Bayern Munich come calling, there is no doubt that the 21-year-old would jump at the opportunity.

With Manchester United set to lose Romelu Lukaku, the Dutchman would certainly be a good addition to their squad, although it still remains to be seen if they can beat Bayern to the player.
