Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Neymar is set to be fined £340,000 by the club after failing to turn up for their training session earlier this week, with the striker not attending their camp on Monday as they started their preparations for the new season.
As per Marca, the Brazilian will not receive £340,000 of July's bonus as punishment for not reporting for club duty, with the striker reportedly having a good behaviour clause in his contract and the money that he will miss out on will go to the club charity instead.
PSG for their part have refuted reports that he earned this bonus for the simple fact of applauding fans, claiming that it is much more than that.

"It is for exemplary behaviour towards sponsors, opponents, referees and officials and for punctuality and effort in training. Even respect towards the media is one of the parts of this behavioural bonus," the club said in a statement.
Serge Aurier, Adrien Rabiot, Edinson Cavani and Marco Verratti are some of the players to have their bonus withheld from them in the past, for offences ranging from criticism of fellow team-mates to returning late to training.
This fine is not expected to affect Neymar considering that he currently earns a salary of €34m-per-year.
