Brazil booked their place in the Copa America quarter-finals with a 5-0 victory over Peru and they could very well end up facing Argentina in the next round.

And the Selecao fans are actually hoping for their team to face Lionel Messi's men in the quarter-final as they think Brazil have nothing to fear from Argentina and that they could be an easy opponent for Neymar and co as compared to other teams.

Supporters at the Arena Corinthians were asked by MARCA if they'd be scared of a quarter-final against Argentina and "no" was the resounding answer.

Asked if they'd be scared of Lionel Messi, the fans dismissed that notion as well.

"I'd prefer Argentina, it'd be easier," one fan said.

"Pfft, Messi is not having a good time right now," another fan claimed.

Tournament hosts Brazil finally turned on the style when they demolished Peru in a 5-0 win to finish top of the table in Group A. The loss means Peru finish third in the group thanks to Venezuela's 3-1 win over Bolivia.

Argentina, meanwhile, gear up to face Qatar in a crunch game that will determine who will finish third place in Group B in the Copa America. A win for either team could even propel them to second place, if Colombia defeat Paraguay in the other game.
