La Liga has come under criticism for leaving out footballing superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo from a post asking fans to choose their favourite legend to have played in Spain.
The league posted on Facebook an image that featured 20 footballers, with a caption that asked fans to 'choose their favourite legend,' with the post featuring a number of legends including the likes of
"You forgot about [the] godfather of all of them. Cristiano Ronaldo," one fan wrote, while another said, "
His omission is certainly baffling considering that he has without doubt been one of the best players to play in Spain, with the 34-year-old being Real Madrid's all-time leading goalscorer with 450 goals from 438 games. He also helped them win a total of 15 trophies during his nine-year stint at the Bernabeu.
