Bayern Munich and France legend Franck Ribery has revealed his ambition of managing the Bundesliga champions in the future, but for now is looking to continue his playing career as a free agent.
Both Ribery and Arjen Robben ended their time with the serial Bundesliga champions when both parties chose not to extend the contracts of the players. However, neither player is about to retire from playing and will be looking to move to other clubs as free agents.
Ribery, however, has indicated that he would like to return back to Bayern in the future in the capacity of a manager and said that he will always have a winning mentality.

"I’ll always have a winning mentality in me, and I want to transmit that. I equally feel what the players are feeling and I know them as men. One day I’ll know what it’s like to be a manager." #MiaSanMia pic.twitter.com/h0Y17eX4FJ
According to Goal, he told L’Equipe Mag: “I’ll always have a winning mentality in me, and I want to transmit that. I equally feel what the players are feeling and I know them as men… One day I’ll know what it’s like to be a manager.”
“I have always been very professional and worked a lot. All this effort and discipline has paid for this longevity.
It remains to be seen where Ribery plays next season, especially considering that there are not a lot of clubs that are looking to sign a 36-year-old winger.
